Please join us and meet nationally-acclaimed artist David Dunlop on Friday, May 13 from 5 pm to 8 pm. Journeys Into Light, David’s upcoming solo show of 35 landscapes and NYC scenes, is an exploration of color and light (radiance), motion and luminous mysteries. “Light performs its role as revelation and expression of human exuberance,” says David Dunlop.

David pays special attention to the enlivening effects and evocations of luster, luminosity and sparkle. Oil on aluminum, a signature technique of the the artist recreates the reflective qualities of light at different times of day to give the viewer both a dramatic and contemplative beauty. Exploring the relationship of colors to the light, Dunlop creates luminosity by blending transparent glazes and contrasting light against darkness stimulating our collective appetite for mystery.
